The benefits of seaweed as a nutritional additive have been extensively tested and are well established. We have developed a unique method of bursting the seaweed/kelp cells without using chemicals or high heat. This system was carefully designed in-house to obtain the freshest and purest extract derived from hand-harvested Ascophyllum nodosum. This technique enables AgStone Kelp to retain as much as possible of the bioactive molecules naturally present within Ascophyllum nodosum, we call it Gentle Extraction.
